Welcome to Rangam.tv

Rangam.tv is a video-sharing and social platform created for people to watch, create, upload, share, comment, like, dislike, message, and connect.

Our goal is to provide a platform where creators can express themselves and viewers can discover useful, entertaining, educational, cultural, and creative content in a safe and respectful environment.

These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not permitted on Rangam.tv.

They apply to videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, comments, profiles, messages, chat, live features, and other content or interactions on Rangam.tv.

1. Respect Other People

Treat other users with basic respect.

Do not use Rangam.tv to:

  • Harass or intimidate another person
  • Threaten another person
  • Encourage violence against another person
  • Repeatedly target or bully someone
  • Publish someone’s private information to harm them
  • Impersonate another person for malicious purposes
  • Encourage others to harass or attack someone

Disagreements, criticism, opinions, and debates are allowed when expressed responsibly.

2. Sexual and Explicit Content — Prohibited

Rangam.tv does not permit sexual or sexually explicit content.

This includes:

  • Pornography
  • Explicit sexual acts
  • Sexually explicit videos or images
  • Sexual exploitation
  • Sexual solicitation
  • Explicit sexual services
  • Sexually explicit thumbnails or promotional material

This prohibition applies regardless of whether the content is uploaded as a video, thumbnail, comment, message, profile image, or other format.

3. Child Safety — Zero Tolerance

Rangam.tv has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse or exploitation.

You must not:

  • Upload child sexual abuse material
  • Request or distribute such material
  • Sexualize children
  • Exploit children sexually
  • Facilitate the exploitation or abuse of children
  • Encourage or promote child abuse
  • Use Rangam.tv to contact or groom children for sexual purposes

Any suspected child sexual exploitation may be removed immediately and may be reported to appropriate authorities where required by law.

4. Violence and Graphic Content

Rangam.tv does not permit content that promotes, glorifies, or encourages serious violence or abuse.

Prohibited content includes:

  • Graphic violence intended primarily to shock or disturb
  • Glorification of violent abuse
  • Encouragement of serious physical harm
  • Threats of violence
  • Content encouraging people to commit violent acts
  • Violent exploitation of vulnerable people

Content involving accidents, news, education, documentaries, history, sports, or other legitimate purposes may be treated differently depending on its context and presentation.

Rangam.tv may restrict or remove excessively graphic material.

5. Animal Abuse and Cruelty

Rangam.tv does not permit content showing or promoting animal abuse or cruelty.

Prohibited content includes:

  • Deliberate animal cruelty
  • Torturing animals
  • Intentionally injuring animals
  • Killing animals for entertainment or shock
  • Organizing animal abuse
  • Encouraging others to harm animals
  • Content glorifying animal cruelty

Legitimate educational, veterinary, agricultural, wildlife, documentary, or news content may be considered based on context.

6. Illegal Activities

Do not use Rangam.tv to promote, facilitate, instruct, or encourage illegal activities.

This may include:

  • Criminal activity
  • Fraud and scams
  • Theft
  • Exploitation
  • Trafficking
  • Sale of illegal goods or services
  • Instructions intended to facilitate serious crimes
  • Attempts to recruit people for criminal activities

Content discussing crime for legitimate news, educational, documentary, historical, or awareness purposes may be allowed when it does not promote or facilitate the activity.

7. Hate, Threats and Dangerous Incitement

Rangam.tv does not allow content that seriously threatens or encourages violence against individuals or groups.

Do not:

  • Make credible threats of serious violence
  • Encourage others to attack someone
  • Encourage violent retaliation
  • Promote violent extremist activity
  • Encourage people to commit serious crimes against others

Political, social, religious, cultural, and other opinions may be expressed when they do not violate these safety rules.

8. Hate and Dehumanizing Content

Rangam.tv is intended for people from different communities, backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs.

Content that dehumanizes, celebrates serious harm against, or encourages violence toward people based on protected characteristics is prohibited.

Users may express disagreement, criticism, satire, or opinions without promoting violence or abuse.

9. Harassment, Bullying and Abuse

Do not use Rangam.tv to repeatedly abuse or target another person.

Examples include:

  • Bullying
  • Threatening messages
  • Persistent unwanted harassment
  • Humiliation campaigns
  • Encouraging others to attack a user
  • Publishing private information to facilitate harassment
  • Coordinated abuse

Healthy disagreement and criticism are allowed.

10. Privacy and Personal Information

Do not publish another person’s private information without authorization when doing so could expose them to harm, harassment, fraud, or abuse.

Examples may include:

  • Private phone numbers
  • Private email addresses
  • Passwords
  • Financial information
  • Private conversations
  • Sensitive personal documents
  • Private residential information
  • Other confidential information

If you believe your private information has been posted without authorization, report the content to Rangam.tv.

11. Spam and Scams

Rangam.tv does not permit spam, deceptive practices, or scams.

This includes:

  • Repetitive unwanted content
  • Fake giveaways
  • Fraudulent schemes
  • Phishing
  • Fake investment schemes
  • Deceptive links
  • Fake accounts created for abuse
  • Artificial engagement manipulation
  • Misleading users to obtain money, credentials, or personal information

12. Misleading or Deceptive Content

Creators should not intentionally deceive users in ways that could cause significant harm.

Do not use:

  • Misleading titles designed to scam users
  • Fake identities for fraudulent purposes
  • Manipulated content intended to facilitate serious fraud
  • False claims designed to obtain money or personal information

Normal entertainment, satire, parody, commentary, opinions, and creative storytelling are permitted when they are not used to facilitate serious harm or fraud.

13. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Only upload content that you have the right to use.

Do not upload:

  • Movies or television programs without permission
  • Copyrighted music without appropriate rights
  • Other creators’ videos without authorization
  • Paid or copyrighted material obtained illegally
  • Content that infringes another person’s intellectual-property rights

Rangam.tv may remove content following a valid copyright complaint or other lawful request.

14. Impersonation and Fake Accounts

Do not impersonate another person, creator, organization, or brand in a way that is intended to deceive or cause harm.

Parody, fan, commentary, or unofficial accounts should make their nature reasonably clear where necessary to avoid confusion.

15. Malicious Software and Security Abuse

Do not use Rangam.tv to distribute or promote:

  • Malware
  • Viruses
  • Trojans
  • Credential-stealing software
  • Malicious scripts
  • Phishing pages
  • Tools intended to compromise other users’ accounts or devices

Attempts to attack or compromise Rangam.tv itself are also prohibited.

16. Non-Ethical or Harmful Content

Rangam.tv does not permit content that is seriously harmful, exploitative, abusive, or unethical.

This includes content that:

  • Encourages exploitation of vulnerable people
  • Promotes serious abuse
  • Encourages dangerous criminal behavior
  • Facilitates serious harm
  • Deliberately exploits users for financial or personal gain
  • Encourages cruelty or abuse

Rangam.tv may consider the context, intent, and potential harm when reviewing content.

17. Comments, Messages and Chat

The same Community Guidelines apply to:

  • Comments
  • Private messages
  • Chat
  • Replies
  • Community posts
  • Profile information

Do not use these features for harassment, threats, sexual solicitation, child exploitation, scams, spam, illegal activities, or other prohibited conduct.

Users can report inappropriate comments, messages, or other interactions.

18. Thumbnails, Titles and Descriptions

Our rules apply not only to the video itself but also to its presentation.

You must not use:

  • Sexually explicit thumbnails
  • Extremely graphic thumbnails
  • Misleading thumbnails intended to scam users
  • Child exploitation imagery
  • Threatening or abusive titles
  • Deceptive descriptions
  • Prohibited content hidden behind an innocent thumbnail or title

19. Educational, Documentary, News and Awareness Content

Rangam.tv recognizes that some sensitive subjects may be discussed for legitimate purposes.

Content involving subjects such as:

  • News
  • History
  • Education
  • Science
  • Medicine
  • Documentaries
  • Public awareness
  • Crime reporting
  • Animal welfare

may be allowed when the content is presented responsibly and does not itself promote or facilitate prohibited conduct.

Context matters.

However, adding an educational disclaimer does not automatically make prohibited content acceptable.

20. Reporting Content

If you encounter content that violates these Community Guidelines, please report it to Rangam.tv.

When submitting a report, provide as much relevant information as possible.

Reports may be reviewed by Rangam.tv or by authorized moderation personnel.

Where appropriate, we may:

  • Remove the content
  • Restrict the content
  • Disable comments
  • Restrict account features
  • Issue a warning
  • Suspend an account
  • Permanently terminate an account
  • Take other appropriate action

21. Enforcement

Rangam.tv may take action when content or behavior violates these guidelines.

Depending on the seriousness and circumstances of the violation, actions may include:

Warning

For certain minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning.

Content Removal

We may remove videos, comments, messages, thumbnails, profiles, or other content.

Feature Restrictions

We may temporarily or permanently restrict access to features such as:

  • Uploading
  • Commenting
  • Messaging
  • Chat
  • Sharing
  • Monetization

Account Suspension

Serious or repeated violations may result in temporary account suspension.

Account Termination

Severe violations, repeated violations, or behavior presenting a serious risk to users may result in permanent termination.

Legal or Regulatory Action

Where required or legally permitted, Rangam.tv may cooperate with appropriate authorities regarding serious illegal activity.

22. Circumvention of Enforcement

Users must not attempt to bypass enforcement actions by:

  • Creating new accounts after termination
  • Using another person’s account
  • Re-uploading removed prohibited content
  • Using technical methods to evade restrictions
  • Creating multiple accounts to continue abusive behavior

Rangam.tv may take additional action against accounts involved in enforcement circumvention.

23. Appeals

If you believe Rangam.tv removed your content or restricted your account incorrectly, you may contact us to request a review.

Appeals should provide relevant information explaining why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

Rangam.tv may review the decision and take appropriate action.

24. Creator Responsibility

Creators are responsible for the content they upload.

Before publishing content, creators should consider:

  • Do I have the right to upload this?
  • Does it violate another person’s privacy?
  • Does it contain prohibited material?
  • Could it seriously harm another person?
  • Is the title or thumbnail misleading?
  • Does it encourage illegal or abusive behavior?

Creators are expected to moderate their own content and respond appropriately to legitimate complaints.

25. Our Commitment

Rangam.tv aims to provide an environment where creators can express themselves and viewers can enjoy and discover content without being exposed to serious abuse, exploitation, or harmful material.

We will continue to improve our moderation, reporting, and safety systems as the platform grows.

These guidelines may be updated from time to time as Rangam.tv develops and as applicable laws and safety standards change.
